The Endolyne Children’s Choir was founded in September 2003 as a non-audition community choir serving the greater West Seattle area. Rehearsals are held at the Fauntleroy Church and are directed by Maria Johnson. The choir is divided into three groups according to age level and ability. The Debut Choir is our entry level group for first through second/third graders. The Encore Choir is for our more advanced choristers and new members from third through eighth grade. Last year we added the Advanced Ensemble for our top Encore members. Choristers learn the basic fundamentals of music theory, vocal training and performance skills. We work in a fun environment that promotes music appreciation and confidence through performing. The choir has performed choral concerts and staged musicals. All boys and girls who like to sing are welcome – no audition necessary.

Performance on Thursday, August 28
Don’t miss our popular Summer Workshop – new and returning members are welcome! This is a fun opportunity open to all youth in the 1st – 8th grades. The workshop will be held at the Fauntleroy Church and will be for the Debut, Encore and Ensemble groups. We will sing songs, learn music theory, work on vocal development, and put together a short musical to include dance and drama.

Weekly rehearsals are held at the Fauntleroy Church in West Seattle (9140 California Ave SW) in the upstairs chapel.

Debut Choir (for our newest members in 1st - 3rd grades)
Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30

Encore Choir (for our more experienced members in 3rd - 8th grades)
Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 pm

Advanced Ensemble
Entry to the Ensemble is by invitation. This small group focuses on more advance vocal and music theory skills and choral music, and will have additional performances. Rehearses as part of Encore from 6:30- 7:30 and then after a short break, continues rehearsal until 8:30.

Tuition
Debut or Encore = $100 (1 hour of rehearsal and music theory per week; each quarter, includes at least one public performance)
Advanced Ensemble = $145 (2 hours of rehearsal and music theory per week; each quarter includes at least one public performance)
